The Society was founded some 40 years ago by a group of mostly amateur, but with some professional artists. At present there are about 60 members (full exhibiting members and associate members)
You may wish to come along as a visitor at a small charge of £2 per meeting
Meetings are held at Beauchamp College, Oadby. Usually on the first Monday of each month at 7pm. from September to June (unless the school is closed for a bank holiday when the meeting is moved to the 2nd Monday)
The meetings consist mainly of demonstrations by professional artists using a variety of methods and media which are both entertaining and educational.
Occasionally an artist of note is invited to conduct an appraisal of members work.

Beauchamp Choral Society

BSC is a mixed 4 part choir about 40 strong, open to all ages without audition.

It rehearses on Mondays from 7~9pm at Trinity Methodist Church, Oadby, from September to May.

It presents a programme of Christmas Music in December and also goes carol-singing to raise money for charity.

Previous performances have included Handel’s Messiah, Merrie England by Edward German, and a programme of Opera Choruses.

There is an annual subscription of about £60.

BSC is a very friendly choir which welcomes new members.
